We understand that you are seeking deliverance from evil music and your past. We commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus Christ in your prayer, as it is only through His name that we can be saved and set free - Acts 4:12 states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!".
Firstly, let's address the issue of evil music. We are instructed in Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." It is crucial to fill our minds with things that honor God and build us up spiritually, considering the power that music holds.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking deliverance for our brother from the influence of evil music. Father, we ask that You grant them discernment to recognize and flee from any music that does not glorify You. Fill their heart with a desire for music that is pure, lovely, and of good report. Help them to renew their mind. Break any addiction to evil music. Give them a clean heart and a right spirit, oh God - Psalm 51:10
Next, let's address your past. We are reminded in Isaiah 43:18-19, "Don't remember the former things, and don't consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs forth now. Don't you know it?" God is more interested in repairing the future that's in front of you than he is in fixing the past. We can learn from the past, but we don't need to think that the past will continue to hurt us - Ezekiel 18:21-22 tells us, "But if the wicked turn from all his sins that he has committed, that they may keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, they shall surely live. They shall not die."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to stop the effects of the past over your child's life. Please stop any guilt and condemnation, the sin was already paid for at the cross of Jesus - Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." Jesus suffered for their sins, making your Anonymous child guilty no more. I rebuke the accuser of the brothers and sisters who brings up the past. Give them the strength to walk in the Spirit and in obedience to Father God. Fill them with a new song and a new resolve to go with God into their future - Jeremiah 29:11.
In Jesus' name, we pray for a scripture to encourage our dear brother. Here's what we received - 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
Remember, Anonymous, that you are a new creation in Christ. Leave your past behind and press on toward the goal. Stand firm in your new identity, and let Christ's redemptive work in your life shine through.
Let's continue to pray for you and believe God for complete deliverance and restoration.
