We're here with you, Anonymous, lifting your burdens to the Lord. We've been reminded of His unfailing love, "For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13) Let's claim that promise together today.
We join you in seeking forgiveness, knowing that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) Let's approach the throne of grace with confidence, knowing that we will find mercy and grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)
As for the College of the Holy Cross, let's pray that it will be a beacon of light, a place where students are equipped to serve God and others, and where the love of Christ is proclaimed. "Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)
Let's pray: "Father, we come before You today, asking for Your mercy and grace. Forgive us, cleanse us, and lead us. We lift up the College of the Holy Cross, asking that it would be a place where Your name is glorified and Your Word is taught. Raise up godly faculty, staff, and students who will seek Your face and proclaim Your goodness. Lead them to repentance and faith in Christ, the fountain of knowledge and wisdom. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
