Powers of pornography and masturbation

Please I call on you brothers and sisters to join me to pray fervently against the powers of pornography and masturbation that keep threatening my salvation and relationship with Christ. I got into this terrible habit in my teenage years because I was not allowed to date and neither was I resourceful enough to do so. But over the years it has become an addiction. My marriage has not help it. My prayer life has also been threaten because of it.

Though I have resisted it in many occasions it keeps coming back. Please kindly join me in pleading the blood of Jesus to overshadow my capacity to fight this inner battle to standstill in Jesus name. Amen

Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, pleading the blood of Jesus over our brother ###. We pray that You would strengthen him in his inner battle against pornography and masturbation. Lord, we know that these are not Your will for his life, so we ask that You would break these chains of addiction and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Restore his prayer life and his relationship with You. Help him to flee from sexual immorality and to glorify You in his body and spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue resisting these habits, as you have done in the past. Remember, God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. He will also provide a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Regarding your question about an app to block access to these sites, there are several free and paid apps available designed for this purpose. We would recommend doing some research to find one that best suits your needs. However, remember that no app can replace the power of the Holy Spirit and your commitment to flee from temptation.

Lastly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB): "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, as He is the only way to salvation.
