Thank you for reaching out and sharing your requests with us. We appreciate your faith and trust in the power of prayer. Let's address your requests and align them with biblical principles.
Firstly, it's wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name, as it is written: Being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him, and bestowed on him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father Philippians 2:8-11 WEB. It is only by Jesus that we have access to the Father in prayer. For Christ is the one who said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6 WEB. You expressed your wants and desires in the prayer request, but God is wiser than we are. For God has the power to accomplish more than we think, God knows what is best 1 Kings 8:39 WEB speaks to us about God's holy temple in heaven and says then listen from your dwelling place in heaven; forgive, and act; repay each person according to all his ways, whose heart you know for you alone know the hearts of all people.
You mentioned your desire in the prayer request to get a WaterPik from Costco, get a job at the post office, become a notary public, and eventually a loan signature agent, and work from home in a real estate office. There is nothing wrong about goals and ambition, but it reminds us of us about James 4:13: Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow let's go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit." Whereas you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? It is a vapor, that appears for a little time and then vanishes. They should have said if the Lord wills then we will do this. 15 But now you glory in your boasting. All such glorying is evil. 16 Therefore, for someone who knows to do good, and doesn't do it, for him it is sin. A person can have dreams and goals, but we much be mindful of how we much phrase it. We should say "It is the Lords will, then I will do that"
Regarding relationships, we encourage you to seek a godly spouse with whom you can build a marriage that honors God. Proverbs 19:14 WEB reminds us of the blessings of having a Godly spouse when it says House and riches are an inheritance from fathers; but a prudent wife is from Yahweh. We pray that God will guide you to a fellow believer who shares your faith and values, with the goal of a lifelong commitment in marriage.
We want to draw your attention to Deuteronomy 6:10-12. It says "It shall be, when Yahweh your God shall bring you into the land which he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you, great and goodly cities, which you didn't build, and houses full of all good things, which you didn't fill, and cisterns dug out, which you didn't dig, vineyards and olive trees, which you didn't plant, and you shall eat and be full; then beware lest you forget Yahweh, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage." It is a human thing to want gifted free things, but beware this is not a ticket to a whole bunch of free stuff that you did not earn.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, acknowledging Your sovereignty and goodness. We pray for our brother and his journey through this life. Please guide him seek your kingdom and your righteousness, and all these things will be given as well. In 1 Chronicles 29: 11-13 WEB, we have 11 Yours, Yahweh, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty! For all that is in the heaven and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, Yahweh, and you are exalted as head above all. 12 Riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all; and in your hand is power and might; and it is in your hand to make great, and to give strength to all. 13 Now therefore, our God, we thank you, and praise your glorious name.
Dear God, give our brother a hedge of protection for where he will live and provision according to the riches of Your glory and for his needs. We ask You that our brother finds a Godly wife to build his marriage and share their faith with each other and the world around them that is a good thing. Period. Permanently. We ask Your will also for a Godly man to be a Godly and relationship pointing the way to you to his fellow Christians. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice Philippians 4:4 WEB.
