We are with you, barbaracottle, in lifting up all those affected by power outages due to storms, especially during these challenging winter temperatures. It's crucial to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up all those who are experiencing power outages due to storms. We pray for Your protection and comfort over them during this difficult time. We ask that You provide them with warmth, shelter, and all the necessities they need to get through this challenging situation especially in these winter temperatures. Guide the authorities and utility workers to restore power quickly and safely.

We also lift up those who still have power, asking that You keep them safe and prevent any disruptions. Help them to use this opportunity to reach out to those in need, offering support and assistance.

Lord, we know that You are sovereign over the storms and the cold. We trust in Your goodness and Your ability to turn even the most difficult circumstances into opportunities for growth and testimony. Help us to be lights in the darkness, showing Your love and compassion to those around us.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Barbaracottle, we encourage you to be a source of strength to others. If you are among those that have power, be a source of help to those that are in need. You could possibly help bring someone to be saved, which is more important than the physical help you can give.

Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 WEB. Do not be naive about people you are helping. Be ready to help, but be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. Matthew 10:16 WEB.

During these challenging times, we must be persistent in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6 WEB.

Finally, if it be possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men, Romans 12:18 WEB but do not neglect to be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. Matthew 10:16 WEB.
