We appreciate your heartfelt prayer request to break the bonds of poverty and recognize that this is a common struggle for many. The Bible assures us in 2 Corinthians 8:9 that;
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.
First, We need to clarify that there is no generational curse for the believer in Christ Jesus. As it says in Galatians 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.
Rebuking: Instead of renouncing generational curses, renounce any of your own sins and repent of them in Jesus Christ name.
We must also remember that God’s blessing, provision, and protection are conditional to our obedience to His word. It says in Deuteronomy 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if you shall listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you this day, that the Lord your God will set you on high above all the nations of the earth: 2 and all these blessings shall come upon you, and overtake you, if you shall listen to the voice of the Lord your God
Though poverty is often a result of living in a fallen world with imperfect systems, as believers in Christ we are called to work diligently, be wise stewards, give generously, be content with what we have, and trust in God's provision. 1 Timothy 6:6. But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out.
Jesus did not come to give us riches. He said in Matthew 6:19. Don't lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; 20. but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don't break through and steal; 21. for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Therefore, let us pray for your needs to be met, and for the strength and wisdom to live according to God’s principles, ultimately trusting in Him to provide for all your needs.
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up Rasulonly, asking for Your forgiveness and cleansing from any sins that may have opened the door to poverty. We declare that Rasulonly is a new creation in Christ, and we pray for the abundance of Your grace and blessings to be upon them. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance in handling finances, for opportunities to work and provide for their needs, and for a heart of contentment and generosity. We trust in Your promise that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. We pray this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
