We are truly sorry to hear about the scam attempt against you, and we are here to pray and provide counsel during this challenging time. We are thankful the situation was identified and reported. Firstly, let's bring your situation to the Lord in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who is facing an attempt of theft and identity fraud. We pray that You will thwart the plans of the evil one and protect Your child's resources and identity. We ask that You will expose any schemes and bring those responsible to justice. We also pray for Your peace and comfort during this time, and we ask that You will guide Your child through this situation, providing wisdom and discernment with each step. We know the enemy is the cause and in Jesus' name, we rebuke the enemy's plans and plead the blood of Jesus over Your child. In Jesus' name, we pray for a successful resolution that will prevent the scammer's success. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
It is so important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB. We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord's protection.
Psalm 91 WEB reminds us, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. ...No evil will befall you, neither will any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
In addition to prayer, we advise you to take practical steps to protect yourself. Contact your bank and any relevant authorities to report the scam attempt. Monitor your accounts and credit reports closely. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB.
Lastly, we are admonished to cast our burden on the Lord, knowing that He cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Trust that God is in control and that He will work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.
