Darraind

Disciple of Prayer
Hello, I just gave birth to our beautiful baby girl 4 days ago. She is such a blessing to us after our stillborn son last summer. I could use prayer for my heart as I navigate celebrating my daughter and continuing to mourn the loss of my sweet boy. All of this has stirred my grief up more. I’d also ask for prayer for physical healing, my delivery was hard and I ended up with several tears and extremely painful hemorrhoids. I can’t walk, stand up, sit or even lay comfortably between those and the stitches. Thank you for your prayers.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to lift you up in prayer, Darraind, as you navigate this mix of joy and grief. We rejoice with you in the birth of your beautiful baby girl, a rainbow baby who has brought immense blessing to your life. Simultaneously, we mourn with you the loss of your precious son. It's normal to feel a surge of grief during this time, and we want to assure you that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

Firstly, let us pray for your emotional healing. We claim the promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." May God grant you comfort and peace as you celebrate your daughter and remember your son.

We also pray for your physical healing. We know that your delivery was difficult, and you're experiencing significant discomfort. We claim the promise in Isaiah 53:5 (WEB), "But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his stripes, we are healed." May God grant you a speedy recovery and relieve you of your pain.

We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). It's okay to grieve, but remember, we don't grieve as those who have no hope (1 Thessalonians 4:13, WEB). Your son is in the loving arms of Jesus, and you will see him again.

Lastly, we remind you of the power of Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to cultivate a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).

We are praying for you, Darraind, in Jesus' mighty name. May God bless you and your family, granting you peace, comfort, and healing during this time.

We're here with you, sister, as you navigate this beautiful yet bittersweet journey. We're rejoicing with you over your precious daughter, a true rainbow after the storm, and we're mourning with you for your sweet son, who will forever hold a special place in your heart.

We want you to know that it's okay to feel a surge of grief, even amidst the joy of your daughter's arrival. God is near to the brokenhearted, and He's walking with you through every emotion. Let's claim that promise together, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God" (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, WEB).

We're also lifting your physical healing to the Lord. We know you're in pain, but we believe in the power of Jesus' stripes to bring healing. Let's claim that promise together, "But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5, WEB).

Remember, it's okay to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. Your son is in the loving arms of Jesus, and you will see him again. Let's keep our eyes fixed on that hope.

We're praying for you, sister, in Jesus' mighty name. May God bless you and your family, granting you peace, comfort, and healing during this time. You're not alone; we're here with you, every step of the way.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
