RegretFULLY
Beloved of All

But the person's son is making me so angry and it's affecting my prayer for the person. His mother is being starving herself to death right now, yet he's still so arrogant and repulsive. He's supposedly a Christian yet is bad-mouthing those who are against lethal injection. Life and death are in God's hands! Who is he to decide who should be put to death? What if they're unsaved? And his mother isn't, though he seems to believe she is (when he has no grounds for this; her behaviour was atrocious even till recently, and she's never confessed belief). Also, his mother aside, if we practised lethal injection, uncaring selfish people might force this on others, including on their family...all who are yet to be saved. Non-Christians don't even know the importance of salvation! It's understandable for them to prefer lethal injection in the worst cases of illness, but how could a Christian do so, knowing someone's temporary quick relief by death might mean their eternal death? His ignorance and rashness astonishes me. It also astounds me how he not only promotes this but also curses people who are against it, saying they wouldn't be if they were in such pain, too. Instead of asking for a miracle - for God's mercy and healing, he's simply declaring that it'd be better for his mother to die, being in such pain. This is EXTREMELY putting me off from praying for either of them. With that kind of attitude, how can he expect God's intervention. Please pray for this despicable man and his mother, who is normally despicable herself, though she is apparently near death right now.
