We're here with you, Ghey. We've been thinking about your prayer request and wanted to share some more thoughts and prayers with you.
First, we're reminded of the story in Matthew 14 where Jesus sends His disciples ahead of Him in a boat, while He dismisses the crowds. A storm comes, and the disciples are afraid, but Jesus comes to them, walking on the water. He says, "It is I; do not be afraid." And when they take Him into the boat, the wind and waves obey Him. We believe that even in the unknown, Jesus is with you, and He's calling out, "It is I; do not be afraid."
We also want to pray for the unknown to become known. As it's written in Psalm 90:17, "Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!" We ask that God would reveal His plans and purposes for you, guiding you step by step, and helping you to understand what may currently seem unknown.
In addition, we want to praise God for the known - the blessings, the lessons, and the love that He's poured out on you. Let's celebrate those moments and trust that He will continue to show up in your life, both in the known and the unknown.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord, we come to You today, trusting in Your goodness and Your love. We lift up Ghey to You, Lord. We pray for the unknown in their life, the situations that seem unclear or uncertain. We ask that You would guide them, give them wisdom and discernment, and reveal Your will to them. Help them to trust in You, even in the unknown, knowing that You have a plan and a purpose for their life.
We also praise You for the known, for the blessings and the truths that You've revealed to them. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
Lord, we ask that You would draw Ghey closer to You, that they may know You more intimately and serve You more faithfully. Help them to see Your hand in both the known and the unknown, trusting in Your goodness and Your love.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Keep trusting, Ghey. God's got this!
