We understand that you're going through a lot right now and we want to lift up each and every one of your concerns in prayer. Firstly, we appreciate your faith in the power of prayer, but we need to address the fact that we pray only through the name of Jesus Christ. I have not seen it mentioned in the prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As you make your requests known to God, do so in the name of Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family and their many needs. First, we pray that they would have a good day, that Your favor would surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12). We ask for Your protection over their jobs, that they would find fulfillment in their work, and that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Keep them from anxiety. Assure them that You are in control and working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Instead, fill them with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We pray for their marriage, that it would be strengthened and blessed. Remind them of Jesus Christ's love for the church and His sacrifice for it (Ephesians 5:25-28). We ask for Your blessing and protection over their home, pets, jobs, vehicles, and family. Guide them in their home remodel and in all their decisions (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also pray for the situation they are going through. We ask that You would gentle the process and get them through this unharmed. Help them to come out of it better and stronger, more reliant on You and trusting in Your goodness. We ask for your comfort through the Holy Spirit for the anxieties they are experiencing.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask for Your peace to reign in their hearts. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We lift up their friends and future, asking that Your will would be done in each area of their lives. Give them wisdom and discernment as they make decisions, and help them to trust in You with all their hearts (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
