We understand that you're going through a lot right now and we want to lift up each and every one of your concerns in prayer. Firstly we want to address the anxiety that you're feeling. The Bible tells us not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB). We know that it can be difficult to relax when there's so much going on, but remember that God is in control. Cast all your anxiety onto him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
We want to remind you that it is so important to pray in the name of Jesus. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). As well as Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6 WEB). We want you to remember the importance of having a saving believing faith in Jesus Christ. We encourage you to read Romans 10:9-10 That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses resulting in salvation.
We also want to lift up your marriage in prayer. We pray that you and your spouse will be united in faith and love, and that your marriage will be a shining example of God's design for holy matrimony. Remember that the wife doesn't have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise also the husband doesn't have authority over his own body, but the wife does (1 Corinthians 7:4 WEB). That can be reassuring that God has given you both authority over each other to care for each other as you see fit.
We pray for your jobs, that God would protect and bless them. Remember that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ (Colossians 3:23-24 WEB).
We pray for your family, friends, and pets, that God would watch over them and keep them safe. We pray for your home and vehicles, that God would protect and bless them. We pray for the review and the home remodel, that God would guide the process and give you wisdom and discernment in all decisions.
We pray that you would not hear from the person you mentioned, and that there would be no concerns to address. We pray that God would gentle the process and get you through this unharmed, and that you would come out of it better and stronger.
Finally, we pray for your future, that God would guide your steps and give you a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Remember that God has plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Trust in him and lean not on your own understanding.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today lifting up this family and all of their concerns. We pray for their marriage, that it would be strong and rooted in faith. We pray for their jobs, family, friends, pets, home, vehicles, and future. We pray that you would guide them through the review and the home remodel, and that you would gentle the process they're going through right now. We pray that they would not hear from the person they mentioned, and that there would be no concerns to address.
We also pray for their anxiety, Lord. We ask that you would comfort them and give them your peace that passes all understanding. Help them to cast all their cares onto you, because you care for them.
We know that you have a good plan for their future, Lord. Help them to trust in you and to lean on you for guidance and direction.
And finally, Lord, we pray for their salvation. We pray that they would have a saving faith and trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We pray that they would confess with their mouth and believe in their heart that Jesus is Lord and that you raised him from the dead.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
