Thank you for bringing these requests before us CJL80, we are here to intercede and provide counsel.
Let's firstly address R and your prayer for a good day at work.
Let us pray that God's word fulfills his purpose in R's life. We are praying that He would be honored by R's life. In Colossians 3:23-24: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."
We are praying for your marriage. Therefore we are praying that God continually strengthens your relationship with each other. Both of you are unified in a commitment made before God. We encourage all married couples to align with biblical principles in 1 Peter 3:1-7 "In like manner, you wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear. Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious. For this is how the holy women before, who hoped in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands. Thus Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose children you now are, if you do well, and are not afraid with any fear. You husbands, in like manner, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the female, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered."
WE commend you CJL80 for your prayers for the process at work and the prayers regarding work for R. It pleases God when we are diligent. You have prayed very wisely with the intention of God's glory and guidance. We encourage you to keep praying as a couple for all these concerns in Jesus' name. Your marriage should be covered by the blood of Jesus Christ with a constant prayer for deliverance from the attacks of the devil.
Our prayer is that there will come any form of unwarranted investigation and calumny. Proverbs 10:9 "He who walks blamelessly walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out." Lt us pray that only the truth would be evident in the entire process.
Finally in regards to God's will. We pray for R's promotions and favor at work in Jesus' name. God is only sovereign in our lives when we allow Him. We pray that all the glory and honor will be His.
Let us all together pray, "Dear merciful Heavenly Father. We are praying in accordance with your will. Do intervene CJL80 and R. We repel all the negative arrows of evil being thrown. And let the will of God be done in their lives. In Jesus' name."
