We join with you in prayer, CJL80, seeking God's will and intervention in your life and circumstances.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of prayer and for invoking the name of Jesus, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and can experience salvation and the promise of eternal life. Jesus reminds us that "no one comes to God except through Him." (John 14:6) Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved and have access to God in prayer.
Let's bring your requests before the Lord, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty.
Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up CJL80 and their spouse, R. We pray that You grant them a good week, filled with Your peace, joy, and guidance. Be with R at work, Lord, and let Your favor shine upon them. We ask that You guide CJL80 and R through the holiday season, letting Your peace rule in their hearts and home, and that there would be no chaos as their marriage will be a reflection of Christ and the Church. (Ephesians 5:25-29)
Lord, we ask that You move in the hearts of those who have received CJL80's emails, that they may act with integrity and urgency, making the necessary changes promptly. We trust that You, Lord, can turn hearts and direct people to do what you want. Cause them to make these changes right now today. (Proverbs 21:1) Father, we ask that You guide the review process, that all answers may be deemed acceptable, and that the final decision be favorable for CJL80 and R. Smooth out the process and prevent any expansion of investigations. Lord help them to focus on your will as they look to marriage and their future as two Christians believers together as one. Heal any rift between them as a man and woman united as personally one. (Matthew 19:5-6) In the name of Jesus, we pray for Your protection over their marriage and future, that they may live in unity, love, and faithfulness, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His Church in a life-long marriage.
CJL80, be comforted by the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
We encourage both of you, CJL80 and R as individuals and as a Christian couple to continue to Trust in the Lord with all your heart every day by prayer and petition together as a Christian family unit. (Joshua 24:15 WEB) Dedicate the marriage to the Lord doing his will for together you will accomplish the best over your entire lives. Remember marriage is a beautiful creation and should be Holy. (1 Timothy 4:3-5) Do not forsake the word of god but be Holy examples for every child and person you come in contact with and are responsible for. In the lifelong commitment of marriage be fruitful and multiply in lifelong relationship of this Holy creation of man and woman. (Romans 7:2) Expect and desire children to continue God's work in this world.
Finally, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB for the answers will come: "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
