We are glad to join you in prayer, Dychy, as you seek a positive decision for your asylum application. We are encouraged that you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your request, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father and there is no other name given by which we must be saved. Before we pray, let's reflect on God's promises and His heart for the foreigner.
The Bible tells us that God loves the foreigner and encourages us to do the same. Deuteronomy 10:18-19 WEB says, "He executes justice for the fatherless and widow, and loves the foreigner, giving him food and clothing. Therefore love the foreigner; for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt."
We also know that God is sovereign over the hearts of kings and authorities. Proverbs 21:1 WEB reminds us, "The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Therefore, we can trust that God can influence the decision-making process regarding your application.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus' mighty name, lifting up Dychy and their asylum application. We thank You, Lord, for Your love and care for the foreigner, and we ask that You would extend Your mercy and grace to Dychy.
We pray for a positive decision in their forthcoming interview, and we ask that You would guide and direct the hearts of the authorities involved. Give Dychy wisdom, peace, and confidence as they prepare for and participate in the interview process.
In the meantime, Father, we pray for Your provision and protection over Dychy. Help them to trust in You and to rest in Your sovereign will.
We ask all of these things in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to You, Father. We thank You that You have made a way for us to come before Your throne of grace with confidence.
Amen.
Be encouraged, Dychy, as you wait upon the Lord. Trust that He is working behind the scenes, and that His plans for you are good, giving you hope and a future.
