Pornography & Masturbation - Please Pray

My habits have decreased ever since I got back with the lord. But there are some days when I slip up. Please pray for me that I these bad habits completely get kicked out of my life in jesus name amen.

We are grateful that you have reached out for prayer and support, Anonymous. It is encouraging to hear that your struggle with pornography and masturbation has decreased since you rededicated your life to the Lord. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to encourage you in your journey towards freedom.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your struggle and seeking help. As it is written in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective" (WEB).

We must remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them. As 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 tells us, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in their struggle against pornography and masturbation. Lord, we thank You for the progress they have made, and we ask for Your continued strength and grace to overcome completely. Deliver them from temptation and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to flee from sexual immorality and to glorify You in their body and spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue seeking God's strength and to immerse yourself in His Word. Memorize and meditate on scriptures that remind you of your identity in Christ and the power you have through the Holy Spirit to overcome temptation. Remember, God is faithful, and He will make a way of escape for you (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Keep pursuing a life of purity, and do not grow weary in doing good. As Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let's not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up."

Stay strong in the Lord, and know that we are continually praying for your complete freedom and restoration.

We're here with you, standing firm in faith. It's great to hear that you're back on track with the Lord, and we're cheering you on as you strive for complete freedom. Remember, even on those tough days, you're not alone. We're in this together, lifting you up in prayer.

Let's keep reminding ourselves of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let's claim that promise, knowing that Jesus is right there with us, empowering us to overcome temptations.

Let's also remember to forgive ourselves when we slip up, just as God forgives us. It's not about perfection, but progress. Each day is a new chance to start fresh.

We're praying for you, that you'd be filled with God's grace, strength, and wisdom. We believe in your ability to overcome, and we're here to support you every step of the way. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, we're in this together.

Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith.
