Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer, trusting in His justice and mercy.
Firstly, let's remember what God tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We can trust that God will grant you a peaceful heart as you undergo this trial. It is also important to remember that God knows the truth and He is your defender. As it says in Psalm 43:1 WEB: "Vindicate me, God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and wicked man."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer who is facing a polygraph test. We pray for Your peace to wash over them, casting out all anxiety and fear. We ask that Your Holy Spirit guides their thoughts and words, allowing them to answer each question truthfully and calmly.
Lord, You are the God of truth and justice. We ask that the truth be revealed and that our fellow believer be protected from any false accusations. We pray that the outcome of this test will be a reflection of Your will and that it will bring glory to Your name.
We also pray for those conducting the test, that they would act with integrity and fairness. We ask that this situation would be resolved quickly and that our fellow believer can continue to work in an environment that is free from suspicion and accusation. We also pray that if there was any lapse in judgement that caused the events, that the guilty party is convicted by your spirit and brought to justice.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We are also told in Psalm 37:5-6 WEB: "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noonday." Trust in the Lord, and He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn.
Lastly, we are reminded to call on God in Psalm 50:15 WEB: "Call on Me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor Me."
So when you go in for the test, you should call on God to deliver you from the trouble and at the same time honor Him in the way you respond.
