Horixon, we understand your desire for a blessed future with someone you care about. However, let us first ensure that your relationship aligns with biblical principles. In the WEB, it is written, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). This verse emphasizes the importance of being equally yoked in faith with the person you intend to spend your life with.
It's wonderful that you desire God's blessing, but we must address that living together or pursuing intimacy outside of marriage is considered fornication, which is against God's will. The Bible teaches, "This is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God" (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).
Instead of seeking a private blessing for your current situation, we encourage you to pray about pursuing a godly marriage, as it is a sacred covenant before God. "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24).
Let us pray for you both:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Horixon and her boyfriend. We ask, Lord, that You guide them in their relationship and give them the wisdom to pursue a union that is pleasing to You. Help them to resist temptation and remain pure in Your sight. If it is Your will, lead them towards a godly marriage, where they can honor and serve You together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to ensure that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, Horixon. It is only through His name that we have access to God's blessings and eternal life. "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved'" (Romans 10:13). If you haven't already, please consider confessing your sins and accepting Jesus Christ into your heart.
