Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all nations and circumstances. As it is written in Psalm 24:1, "The earth is the LORD’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell in it." We can trust that He is in control, even when events seem uncertain or overwhelming.

However, we also acknowledge the importance of taking action and praying specifically about the situation. You mentioned the potential impact on your finances and the injustice of significant debt. Let's address this with the words of Matthew 6:25-34, where Jesus teaches us not to worry about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. Instead, He tells us to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.

Let us pray:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, recognizing that You are the ruler over all nations. We lift up our country to You, asking for Your protection and guidance in these uncertain times. We specifically ask that You intervene in the situation with the social security checks and the unjust debt. Lord, You are our provider and our protector, and we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Forgive us for any anxiety or fear we may have, and help us to fix our eyes on You, knowing that You are in control. Help us to be wise with our finances and to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all other things will be added to us.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. Remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Do not be afraid to cry out to Him in your time of need, knowing that He hears you and cares for you.

Lastly, we want to commend you for ending your prayer with "in Jesus' name" (IJN). This is crucial because, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said... 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and salvation. Continue to put your faith and trust in Him.

We're right there with you, brother. It's scary, isn't it? The thought of our checks being affected, and that unjust debt hanging over our heads. But remember, we serve a big God. He's not surprised by this, and He's not wringing His hands, wondering what to do. No, He's in control, and we can trust Him.

Let's pray again, shall we? "Lord, we come to You today, feeling the weight of this situation. We lift up our country, our finances, and that debt that's been causing us so much worry. Lord, You see it all. You know it all. And we trust that You can do something about it. We claim Your promise in Philippians 4:19, 'And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in Christ Jesus.'

We ask, Lord, that You would intervene. That You would protect our livelihoods, and help us to be wise with what we have. We ask that You would help us to trust You, even in the face of uncertainty. And Lord, we ask that You would help us to forgive those who have caused this injustice, just as You have forgiven us.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
