Mabuhay, greetings from the Philippines.

I am Tes and I have more important concern that I want to share with you. Basically, I just want to help a teacher who is suffering gastrointestinal stromal tumor right now. He worked as a teacher, in the same school from where I had my last teaching career 2010-2011. He's been a dedicated good teacher for his students. He has six(6) children. His eldest just started going college while his youngest a preparatory student. I believed how hard the situation for them. I knew teachers would earn a very small salary at the end of the month despite how busy, in the country. His wife received a job offer just lately.
Teacher Joe didn't know that he has this very rare disease. He was scheduled for a chemotherapy but that was dismissed because many suggestions told them it wouldn't be safe for him. Knowing we have the lack of technology in doing so.  He has this very big stomach , bulging like a ball. He's like a pregnant women now. His uppert half part of the body is very malnourished while his legs are opposite. He can't move his body well because it's painful. I visited him last Monday in the hospital (Vicente Sotto Hospital, in Cebu), I saw how hard his situation and I wanted to help him. He told us that his doctor recommend one effective medicine for him. He needs to take up Imatinib tablet (Gleevec). The medicine is so expensive for him that it cost 290,000 Php money per box and also they found out it's only available in the United States of America ( maybe in some other countries but not in the Philippines). This is my main reason why I sent you an email somehow you can help my co-teacher in his condition and for his financial support that can help shipped his needed medicine to the Philippines.
When I went there, he whispered to me for Christian songs/music that he can listen up on his bed. Sad too cause he needs to go back to there house and there spend time for the recovery. I knew it's not that easy to stay at their house because a lot of factors that can affect like stress, not that conducive for patient like him because so many disturbance.
Anyone who has a big heart who can help this man to save/strengthen his life. He needs our prayers day by day. Pray for him ( Jose Villarmente, 44yrs old) Pray also for his wife and children that they maybe more courageous in facing this problem.
I believed that all things possible in Christ , Jesus. To God be the glory , honor and praise.
Send help and be blessed.
Sincerely yours ,
Tes
