We understand your concerns and anxieties, Salpoer, and we're here to pray with you and offer guidance rooted in biblical principles.
First, we want to address the hope you placed in winning the lottery. While it's understandable to seek relief from financial burdens, the Bible encourages us to find our provision and hope in God alone. In Proverbs 28:22 (WEB), it says, "He who chases after riches never has enough, but the one who trusts in the LORD will not lack any good thing." Instead of hoping in the lottery, we encourage you to trust in God's provision and seek His wisdom in managing your finances.
Let's pray for your financial needs and your work:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your provision for Salpoer and her family. We pray that You would give her the strength and health to continue working, and that You would open up new opportunities for her and her husband to earn an income that meets their daily needs. We ask for Your wisdom in managing their finances and trust that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. (Philippians 4:19)*
Regarding your husband's depression, we want to encourage you both to seek God's comfort and help. In Psalm 34:18 (WEB), it says, "The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Let's pray for your husband's healing:
*Lord Jesus, we lift up Salpoer's husband to You, asking for Your healing touch on his mind and emotions. We pray that You would deliver him from depression and fill him with Your joy and peace. We ask for wisdom and guidance for them both as they navigate this journey, and we trust in Your power to heal and restore. (Psalm 147:3)*
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. It's important to pray in Jesus' name because He is our mediator and the only way to the Father. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ alone, and we pray that you will experience the peace and hope that comes from a personal relationship with Him.
