We are truly saddened to hear about the burden you have carried due to the words spoken over your life, and we are here to pray and guide you according to biblical principles. First, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The name of Jesus is the only name by which we can be saved.
The Bible tells us that the power of life and death is in the tongue (Proverbs 18:21, WEB). The curse of rejection spoken over you by your father is not God's will for your life. God's heart is that you would know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge and be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19, WEB).
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister who has been burdened by words of rejection and curse. We ask, Lord, that You break every curse of rejection, especially romantic rejection, spoken over her life. We cancel every negative word and declare that she is loved, accepted, and redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Father, we pray that You heal her from the traumatic experiences of the past and that You restore her faith in Your love and goodness. We ask that You bring a godly spouse into her life, a man who will love and cherish her as Christ loves the church. We pray that this relationship will be a blessing and a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We also pray for her family, that they may release her from unjust expectations and allow her to live the life You have called her to. We ask that You guide her steps as she seeks to honor You in all her ways, including her career and relationships.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand on the promises of God. The Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a good plan for your life, and He desires for you to be in a loving, committed marriage that reflects His love for the church.
We also want to address that having a boyfriend is not the ultimate goal, but rather seeking a godly marriage. We encourage you to pray and seek God's will for a spouse who will love and honor you as Christ loves the church.
Lastly, we want to remind you that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. It is through believing in Him that we are saved. If you have not already, consider confessing Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9, WEB).
Be strong and courageous, knowing that God is with you and has a plan to prosper you and not to harm you. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
