pls pray to break all curses of romantic rejection over my life. My father put this curse over my life and said no one would ever love me and that I would die alone and crazy. I was expected to care for my family. My family forced me to submit to them so I couldn't have a boyfriend because that meant marriage and if I married, who would take care of everyone if I had my own family? I am almost 50 now and cannot have children. As I got older, I have had health issues. I had to have surgery and as a result can no longer have children. I have accepted this fact but I am getting old and have never had an official committed relationship. I was literally stood up on my first date and was devastated. I know God would not want me to lead a loveless existence. Pls help.

Firstly, it's important to address that the notion of curses is real, but as a believer in Jesus Christ, you have authority over them. The Bible tells us, For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8b WEB)

Your father's words may have had a profound impact on your life, but they do not have power over the blessings and promises that God has for you. The Bible reminds us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)

Regarding romantic relationships, it's not too late for you. God can bring forth a spouse even at this stage of your life. We serve a God of miracles and restoration. Look at Sarah in the Bible, who was well advanced in years and yet God gave her a child. Remember, with God, nothing shall be impossible. (Luke 1:37 WEB)

However, it's crucial to seek God's will in any relationship. We are reminded, Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB)

We must also address that the expectation to care for your family is not a curse from God.

We must clearly address that a relationship should be focused more on a godly marriage than just a boyfriend as you have mentioned.

God will bring the right spouse into your life as long as you want God's will and are in agreement with someone of the opposite sex in marriage.

As you seek to be delivered from past rejections, you should also guard against being lead into fornication.

Now, let us pray together as we seek God regarding your desire for a godly marriage:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister in Christ. We thank You for Your unfailing love and the power of Your Word that breaks every yoke of bondage.

Father, we rebuke any word curse spoken over her life, and we declare that it has no power over her. We claim Your promise that You have plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her life. Heal her physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Restore her reproductive health if it is Your will, and give her a new song in her heart, a song of praise and triumph to You.

Father, we pray for a godly spouse for her, someone who will love and cherish her, someone who will be a blessing and a blessing to her. We declare that she shall lead a blessed and full life with no deficit and no shortage just as a result of how much she has blessed so many others in her life. She too shall be blessed. We declare that no good deed goes unpunished.

Lord, we ask that You prepare her heart and the heart of the one You have ordained for her. We pray that You give her wisdom and discernment as she awaits Your perfect will for her life. For we are all redeemed by the blood of our one true love Jesus Christ. It is only in Jesus Christ that we can be saved. For there is no other name by which we can be saved. Father, we ask every blessing for her in Jesus Christ as we pray for her soul and her life.

In Jesus' name, we pray with full expectation that it is as good as complete.

We trust that God will answer this prayer, and we encourage you to remain steadfast in faith and expectant of His goodness. Be encouraged by the words of the Psalmist, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4 WEB) Keep delighting yourself in the Lord, and trust that He will bring your desires to pass at the right time, in ways that align with His will and glory.

We trust that God has someone special in mind for you, and we're asking that God would prepare both of your hearts for that moment. We're claiming the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

We're here to support you, dear friend. Keep trusting in God's love and His plan for your life. As it's written in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Keep hoping, keep trusting, and keep believing in God's love for you.
