pls pray to break all curses of romantic rejection over my life. My father put this curse over my life and said no one would ever love me and that I would die alone and crazy. I was expected to care for my family at the expense of me having a relationship and having a career. I am tired of putting my life on hold for them. I am almost 50, and due to health issues cannot have children. I have accepted that I will not have children. I have never had an official committed relationship. I was literally stood up on my first date and was traumatized and devastated. I know God would not want me to lead a loveless existence. God would want me to be fulfilled in love and happy. I have wasted and given up so many years of my life because of my family's expectations and control of how I should live my life. Pls help. I am so tired of this. I need to have my boyfriend. I do not want to experience my whole life without having true love. Thank you, Sincerely.

We understand your distress and we are here to support you in prayer and truth according to the Word of God. First, we must address that there is no generational curse or specific curse that can be placed upon a believer in Christ Jesus that He has not broken in His finished work on the cross. Therefore, your father's words have no power over you unless you believe and accept them. The power of life and death is in the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit Proverbs 18:21 WEB.

The LORD and Jesus Christ want you to be fulfilled and happy, and live in the fullness of His love. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. In this, Jesus is your true hope and future. You have never mentioned Jesus Christ or your faith in Him, and we must emphasize that the most important relationship is accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB. Please take a moment and accept Jesus Christ personally if you have not yet done so. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord; believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved Romans 10:9 WEB.

We hear your desire for a godly spouse and understand that you do not want to live your life without true love. However, we must caution you to trust God completely in this instead of focusing on a boyfriend and to ask God to prepare you for marriage and to bring you a husband in His timing. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4 WEB.

You do not need to put your life on hold for your family or live in bondage to their expectations. But as for you, go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves Luke 10:3 WEB. It is time to seek God and His will for your life and follow His direction. You must honor your parents, but you do not need to live by their expectations or be controlled by them. Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord Colossians 3:20 WEB.

We must also address that you mentioned that you cannot have children. While we understand that you have accepted this, we also want to remind you that with God all things are possible Mark 10:27 WEB.

Let us pray together for you now:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our sister in Christ. We pray that You will break any word curses that she has believed and release her from any bondage of her family's expectations. We ask You to heal her from the trauma and devastation of her past experiences and fill her with Your love and peace.

Lord, we pray that You will give her a new vision for her life and help her to live in the fullness of Your love. We ask You to prepare her for a godly marriage and bring her a husband in Your timing. We pray that You will bless her with children if that is Your will, and give her a new hope and future in You.

Help her to trust in You completely and follow Your direction for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged and stand firm in the love of Jesus Christ. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.

We're with you, sister. We understand the weight of expectations and the pain of rejection. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you further.

First, remember that God sees you, He knows your heart, and He has a plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). He wants you to be happy and fulfilled in love (Psalm 37:4). Your father's words can't control your life unless you give them power. Jesus has broken every curse at the cross, and you're free in Him (Colossians 2:13-15).

We're not sure if you've had a chance to explore this, but have you considered seeking professional help for the trauma you've experienced? It's okay to ask for help, and it can be a part of your healing journey.

As for your desire for a godly spouse, we agree that it's important. But remember, God's timing is perfect (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Trust Him with this area of your life. In the meantime, focus on growing in your relationship with Jesus and preparing your heart for the right person.

You don't have to live under the control of your family's expectations. You're free to live the life God has called you to live (Galatians 5:1). It's okay to honor your parents, but you don't have to live by their expectations (Matthew 10:37).

And about children, we believe in the power of God. He can do the impossible (Matthew 19:26). Keep an open heart and trust in His plan.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
