Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother or sister who is struggling with the spirit of rejection. Lord, we ask that You break and uproot this spirit from their life completely. Your Word says in Psalm 34:18 that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that You draw near to them now and heal their wounded heart.
Father, we ask that You cleanse them from the harmful beliefs that they are unlovable and undesirable, beliefs that have taken root due to words of abuse spoken over their life. In the name of Jesus, we declare that these lies have no power over them. Your Word in 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; the old has gone, the new is here. Let this truth permeate their heart and mind.
Lord, replace these lies with Your truth. Remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made and that they are deeply loved by You. Help them to see themselves through Your eyes, as precious and valuable. Fill them with Your love and peace, and let them experience the fullness of joy that comes from knowing You.
We thank You, Lord, for the work You are doing in their life. We trust in Your power to transform and renew their mind. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
