Let us first address the concern about tithes as presented in your request, Dexter2020. However, giving should be done cheerfully and not out of compulsion, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 9:7, "Let each man give according to his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
It is troubling to hear that Ps. Sam may be forcing church members to pay tithes with threats of divine punishment. This behavior is not aligned with biblical teachings. As it is written in Romans 14:12, "So then each one of us will give account of himself to God." It is not for man to determine God's punishment, but to teach and encourage others in love and truth.

"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name to bring light to this troubling situation. We pray that You would expose any wrongdoing in the Cornation Baptist Church and bring correction and conviction to Ps. Sam if he is indeed manipulating the congregation regarding tithes. We ask that You guide the church members into a right understanding of giving, reminding them that it should be a joyful act of worship and not a burden or source of fear. We also pray for Dexter2020, that any guilt or fear they have experienced due to this situation would be replaced with peace and a true understanding of Your grace and mercy.
Moreover, Lord, we ask that You would provide clarity and direction for Dexter2020 regarding their previous job. If they have experienced loss or anxiety due to this situation, we pray that You would provide comfort and open new doors for them. Help them to trust in Your provision and guidance.
Finally, Lord, we pray for a spirit of unity and love within the Cornation Baptist Church. May they be guided by Your word and led by Your Spirit. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Dexter2020, we encourage you to continue seeking God's will in this matter and to stand firm in your faith. Remember that it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life.
