Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is in need of your divine intervention. We lift up their upcoming surgery to you, Lord, and ask that you guide the hands of the medical team involved. We pray for a successful surgery, that every step and procedure would go smoothly and according to your perfect plan.
Lord, we specifically ask for your guidance and protection during the administration of anesthesia. We pray that you would grant wisdom and skill to the anesthesiologist, ensuring that our friend is safely and comfortably put to sleep for the duration of the surgery. May the anesthesia work effectively and without any complications.
Father, we also ask for a swift and easy recovery for our anonymous friend. We pray for your healing touch to be upon them, bringing restoration and wholeness to their body. May their body respond positively to the surgery, and may they experience a speedy recovery, free from pain and complications.
We claim the promise in Psalm 30:2 that says, "O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me." We trust in your faithfulness, Lord, and we believe that you are able to bring complete healing and restoration to our friend.
