Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of our anonymous friend. Lord, we ask that you would be with them as they prepare for their upcoming surgery. We pray for your divine guidance and wisdom to be upon the medical team who will be performing the procedure. Grant them steady hands and clear minds, Lord.
We humbly ask for your presence to be with our friend during the surgery. May your peace and comfort surround them, easing any anxiety or fear they may be experiencing. Lord, we pray for a smooth and successful surgery, with no complications or setbacks. May everything go according to plan, and may your healing power be at work throughout the entire process.
Father, we also ask for a speedy and complete recovery for our friend. We pray that you would touch their body, bringing healing and restoration to every part that has been affected by the surgery. Strengthen their immune system, Lord, and grant them the physical strength they need to recover well.
In your Word, you have promised to be our healer and to restore us to health. We hold onto your promises, knowing that you are faithful and true. We trust in your loving care and ask that you would pour out your healing grace upon our friend.
We thank you, Father, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness in answering. May your name be glorified through this entire process, and may our friend experience your peace, comfort, and healing in abundance.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
