We understand that you are seeking prayer for a delicate family situation. Firstly, it's important to remember that our ultimate goal as believers is to glorify God in all that we do, and to treat others with the love and respect that Jesus modeled for us. In this case it is important to consider the scriptures that address caring for our parents and honoring them in all that we do.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved daughter and her mother. We ask, Lord, that You grant them both wisdom and guidance in this situation.
Father, we pray for healing, and clarity of mind for their mother. And if it be Your will, Lord, soften her heart to allow her daughter to assist her in putting her affairs in order, always ensuring that her best interests are at the forefront.
Lord, we also pray for their relationship. May it be strengthened and built on trust, love, and mutual respect. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, and to honor one another in all that they do.
We do not pray this for selfish gain or material possessions. According to Proverbs 11:28 WEB, "He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous shall flourish as the green leaf."
Father, we ask for special discernment to make decisions that align with Your will and not merely the desires of the daughter. Help her to trust in You. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
We also pray for their mother's salvation, if she does not already know Jesus as her personal Savior. We pray that she would come to know Him deeply and personally, and that He would be her ultimate guide and comfort in all things.
Finally, we pray that their mother would have a long and healthy life, with many more precious moments spent with her family. But when the time comes for her to leave this earth, we pray that the transition would be peaceful and full of grace.
We ask all these things in Jesus Christs Name. Amen.
As for the Power of Attorney (POA) and the inheritance, it's important to remember that these are delicate legal and financial matters. We advise you to seek professional counsel and to ensure that all actions taken are in full accordance with the law and your mother's best interests. Always remember that our ultimate inheritance is in heaven, not on earth.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
