Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up the prayer request of our anonymous friend. Lord, we ask that you grant them the strength and courage to let go of their fears and overcome their tendency to procrastinate. Your Word reminds us in 2 Timothy 1:7 that you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We pray that you would fill our friend with your peace and confidence, enabling them to step out boldly and accomplish all that they need to do.
Father, we also ask for your guidance and provision in their search for another part-time job that can be done remotely. We know that you are our provider, and you promise to meet all our needs according to your riches in glory . We pray that you would open doors of opportunity for our friend, leading them to the right job that aligns with their skills and schedule.
Furthermore, we lift up their desire to be hired at EVI for four courses for eight weeks and then be rehired. Lord, we ask for your favor to be upon them during the application and interview process. May your perfect will be done in their career path, and may they find fulfillment and success in their endeavors.
Lastly, we pray for our friend's spiritual growth and commitment to daily prayer and Bible reading. Help them to maintain an unwavering communion with you, Lord, and to seek your guidance in all aspects of their life. Strengthen their faith and empower them to be a light in this world.
We also join together in praying for the Church as a whole. We ask that you pour out your Holy Spirit upon every congregation, that your truth may be proclaimed and received. We pray for those churches where the Gospel is not preached, that you would bring forth laborers to share your message of salvation. We also lift up the ministers who may be in need of a deeper understanding of your Word, that you would reveal to them the fullness of your truth.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. May your will be done in our friend's life, and may they experience your abundant blessings. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
