Firstly, let's remember the words of Colossians 3:23 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." This verse reminds us that our efforts should be directed towards pleasing God rather than merely achieving worldly success.
When we are reaching for a goal in Jesus name, it may not be to get the goal, but again to Jesus' name and His will at His pleasure.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this student to You. Lord, we pray that You would help them to apply themselves diligently in their cinema class, not just for a good grade, but for a true understanding of the subject matter. Guide their studies and help them to use their knowledge in a way that brings glory to Your name. We pray the grade earned will be indeed the grade deserved. If it is Your will that obtaining an A+ for their final grade, we pray this for Your glory. We also pray for their testimony among classmates and professors, and that through their efforts the professors and students do not see them, but see you and recognize they are a follower of Jesus Christ.
IJN, we ask Lord You put a hedge around this prayer, that it be recognized by all to be prayed through Your will and in Your way. We allow you the freedom to say no if it is not in Your will. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness in our lives. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
Although deep and true, but is the desire of huge of the world being exalted with a high grade, or is the Lord the true desire of your heart. Do not attempt to buy your identity with an A+ grade, but remember the cost Jesus gave for your identity on the cross. Your true identity being and meaning of your religion of Christianity is the only thing of value and worth.
Remember, God's plan for you may not always align with your immediate desires, but He always works for the good of those who love and obey Him Romans 8:28 WEB). Trust in Him, and strive for excellence in a way that honors His name.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
