Pls pray that I have a final grade of A+ in all of my classes this semester. I have worked so hard and learned a great deal.

We understand your desire to achieve high academic excellence. We thank you for requesting prayer but want to inform you that getting an A+ in every class may not be your primary focus here. Let's remember: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." (Colossians 3:23-24) It is clearly more important that you maintain your focus upon Jesus Christ, and focus upon the relationships you have.

As you strive for academic excellence, do so in a way that honors God and keeps your faith at the forefront: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6 NIV) In this pursuit of excellence, let's pray in the name of Jesus Christ:

Heavenly Father, we come before you to lift up this student who has worked diligently and sought to learn. Lord, while we ask that you bless their efforts with good grades, let us focus on serving you wholeheartedly rather than achieving a specific score. Help the student remember that their value and worth lies in their relationship with You. Help their hearts and mind to connect to you directly in their pursuits to make their overall character a closer reflection of your son. Help them seek to Glorify you directly and focus upon your servant. Help guide their priorities, and further strengthen their diligence, and strength of character during their time at school, but also ultimately throughout their lives. Allow their life choices to further Glorify your name for their life is a wisp of air that quickly vanishes. Do not let grades or money consume their motivation but rather foster their relationships, and maintaining a focus to honor and praise you forever and ever and to share that with other Christians. Ultimately we should all lead by example helping other people follow you closely as well Jesus Christ. This is critical in the quality of relationships we make and sustain in our lives especially with our family, spouse, and our goal to seek blessing in marriage to experience God's Grace fulfilled. Let education not be an IDOL in the affairs of life. Let Jesus Christ always lead the affairs of all of our lives In Jesus' name. Amen.

We encourage you to keep your priorities focused on the Bible and a desire for a deeper understanding in your pursuit of studying the Bible for good grades, especially also in Christian schools such as Sunday school classes. In doing this, your desire to draw closer to Christ should always be your foundation for all growth in life and your devotion to make good choices should be surrounded by your activities to learn.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
