We understand your deep pain and emotional exhaustion, and we want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you according to God's Word.
Firstly, let's address the words spoken over you by your father. In Proverbs 18:21 (WEB), it says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit." Words have power, but so do forgiveness and redemption. We must remember that no curse, no word spoken, is more powerful than the name of Jesus. As it is written in Colossians 3:17 (WEB), "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him."
Let's pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You break and uproot any curse spoken over this child of Yours. We rebuke the lies and harmful words spoken, and we ask that You replace them with words of love, healing, and affirmation. We claim the promise in Isaiah 54:17 (WEB), 'No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,' says Yahweh."
Regarding your desire for love, we want to encourage you that God's will is indeed for you to experience love—His love and love from others. In 1 John 4:19 (WEB), it is written, "We love Him, because He first loved us." God's love for you is unconditional and everlasting. However, we want to encourage you to pursue love in a godly manner, aligning with biblical principles. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"
Let's pray for godly love to enter your life:
"Father, we ask that You bring a godly spouse into this dear one's life, someone who will love and cherish them as You do. We pray for a marriage that reflects Your love and commitment, a union that brings glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to address the emotional exhaustion you're feeling. In Matthew 11:28 (WEB), Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." Lay your burdens at His feet, and trust that He will give you the rest and peace you need.
Stay strong in your faith, and remember that you are deeply loved by God. Your past does not dictate your future. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
