We understood your request, dear one, and we stand with you in prayer for your father. Before we begin, we want to remind you that our prayers are offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the father of our dear one who has submitted this request. Lord, we ask for Your grace and mercy to be upon him as he prepares to go to RCC next week. We pray that You will give him the strength and courage to take the tube without any problems. We ask that Your blessing and favor will be upon him, and that You will provide for all his needs according to Your riches in glory. We also pray for his health, that You will nourish his body with good food and rid him of all problems.
Father, we ask that You will guide his steps and direct his paths. We pray that You will grant him wisdom and understanding, and that You will give him a heart that seeks after You. We ask that You will reveal Yourself to him and draw him closer to You. We pray that he will come to know You as his personal Lord and Savior, if he does not already.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for your father, trusting in the power of God to work in his life. Remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that our prayers should be directed to God alone, through the name of Jesus Christ. We do not pray to Mary, angels, or non-living saints, as this is not biblical. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB), "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and your family.
