Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of ###, who is seeking your help to overcome the fear of death. Lord, we acknowledge that death can be a daunting and unsettling thought for many of us. But we know that you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
We pray, Lord, that you would fill ###'s heart and mind with your perfect love, which casts out all fear. Help them to fix their eyes firmly on Jesus, who conquered death through His sacrifice on the cross. May they find comfort and assurance in knowing that through faith in Christ, they have eternal life.
Lord, we ask that you would grant ### the gift of assurance, that they may know and feel the truth of your promises. Help them to trust in your unfailing love and to rest in the assurance that you are their strong tower and defense.
We pray that you would replace their fear with faith, their anxiety with peace, and their uncertainty with confidence in your sovereignty. May they find solace in the shadow of the cross, knowing that you are with them every step of the way, even in the darkest moments.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for ###, that they may understand the true hope and assurance that can only be found in you. Guide them to seek you earnestly, to grow in their knowledge of Christ, and to find security in their relationship with Him.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness to answer. May ### experience your peace that surpasses all understanding and may their fear of death be replaced with a confident hope in the eternal life you have promised. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
