Pls pray for my relationship with RDL

RDL has initiated contact. Thank you. Pls pray that we reconnect emotionally and grow in a relationship in love, joy, trust, appreciation, trust and loyalty. That we become better friends and have mutual respect. That he never takes me for granted. That we communicate more often and that our communication is meaningful and that our relationship has commitment.

We understand that you are seeking prayer for your relationship with RDL. Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's will in all relationships. The Bible teaches us that we should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and that our relationships should glorify God and draw us closer to Him.

We notice that your request focuses on emotional reconnection and growth in love, joy, trust, appreciation, and loyalty. While these are all commendable aspects of a relationship, we want to encourage you to first and foremost seek God's guidance and will for this relationship. Remember, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Only through Him can we be saved and have a true relationship with God.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up this relationship between Anonymous and RDL. Lord, we ask that You guide them both, that Your will be done in their lives and in their relationship. Help them to seek You first and to honor You in all aspects of their relationship. We pray for emotional healing and reconnection, for growth in love, joy, trust, appreciation, and loyalty. We pray that their communication would be meaningful and God-honoring, and that their relationship would be marked by commitment and mutual respect. Most importantly, Lord, we pray that both Anonymous and RDL would come to know You more deeply and that their relationship would draw them closer to You. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

As a final note, we encourage you to continue to pray and seek God's will for this relationship. Remember to put God first and to honor Him in all that you do. If you or RDL are not already committed to Jesus Christ, we encourage you to consider making that commitment, as it is the most important decision you will ever make.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
