We understand that you are struggling with anxiety and fear stemming from past childhood experiences. First, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. There is healing and freedom in Jesus Christ, and His perfect love casts out all fear.
In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, the Apostle Paul encourages us, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
It is crucial to address the root of your anxiety, which you've identified as negative childhood experiences. God wants to heal and restore your self-esteem and sense of safety. In Romans 12:2 WEB, God tells us, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Anonymous who is struggling with anxiety and fear. Lord, You know the deep-seated pain and trauma they have experienced in the past, and how it has affected their present life. We ask for Your healing touch upon their memories, their mind, and their emotions. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. Guide them on how to resist the devil and help them to firmly resist him. They need to know and believe and say it out loud, because it is written in James 4:7, Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. We pray that You will transform their mind and give them a new perspective, rooted in Your truth and love. Help them to trust in You completely and live in the freedom that Jesus Christ has provided for us. Help them to understand that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to God the Father. Remind them that there is no other name by which we can be saved. Help them to understand this and to believe the true gospel message in the Bible.
We specifically pray for deliverance from the spirit of fear and a renewed sense of self-worth and safety and trust in You. In Jesus name. Thank you for answered prayer.
As you continue to seek God and His healing. If it is appropriate we do recommend seeking wise Christian counsel and support from your local church community as well. If there is any unforgiveness from the past, it is also a good opportunity to seek God on the matter and let that go.
