Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is in need of prayer. We lift up their upcoming surgery to you, Lord, and ask for your divine intervention and guidance.
We pray specifically for a successful surgery tomorrow. We ask that you would be with the medical team, guiding their hands and giving them wisdom and skill throughout the entire process. Lord, we pray for the anesthesia to go smoothly, that there would be no complications or adverse reactions. May the anesthesia bring comfort and peace to our friend during the surgery.
We also ask for the surgery itself to be a success. Lord, we pray for the surgeon to be focused, steady, and guided by your wisdom. May every step of the procedure be carried out with precision and care. We pray for a smooth process, with no complications or unexpected issues.
Furthermore, we ask for a swift and complete healing for our friend. Lord, we pray that their body would respond well to the surgery and that the recovery process would be smooth and without any setbacks. We ask for your healing touch to bring restoration and wholeness to every part of their body.
In all of this, Lord, we trust in your perfect will and your loving care. We know that you are the ultimate healer and that nothing is impossible for you. We claim the promise in 1 John 5:14-15 that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us and grant our petitions.
We thank you, Father, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We commit our anonymous friend into your loving hands, knowing that you are with them every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
