We are glad to join with you in prayer for your son B, asking for God's intervention in his life.
Let's first remember God's promise in
Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petitions with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
It is wonderful that you have included "in Jesus name" at the end of your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up B to your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that you would grant him an unwavering focus on your will for his life and the courage to walk in your ways this week.
Help him, Father, to be strong and courageous, not afraid or discouraged, for you, Lord our God, are with him wherever he goes.
1 Chronicles 28:20 WEB:
"David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and courageous, and do it. Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; for Yahweh God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of Yahweh is finished."
Grant him a steadfast spirit that does not waver from the path you have set before him. Help him to trust in you with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding. May he seek your will in all he does and acknowledge you, so that you will make his paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB:
"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
May he go through this week with strength and determination, knowing that you are always by his side.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
