We understand your heart's cry, dear soul. Let us remind you of who you are in Christ Jesus. You are a child of the Most High God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). You have been chosen, holy, and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12). You are not of this world, for Jesus has chosen you out of the world (John 15:19).
Let us pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. Remind our dear sister/brother of their true identity in You. Help them to see that they are Your precious child, set apart for Your purposes. Give them the strength to resist the ways of the world and to live according to Your will. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be guided by You throughout this day and every day. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to keep your mind on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth (Colossians 3:2). Remember, you are in this world, but you are not of this world. Your identity is in Christ, and it is in Him that you find your worth and purpose.
We notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is by His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13). We encourage you to always approach God in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
