Let us begin by thanking God, as we can see that you have invoked the name of Jesus, which is wonderful because it is only by His name that we have access to God the Father in prayer. As it is written: 'For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus' 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
We understand that you are seeking prayer for a visa, family unity, and the strength of your marriage. First, let's pray for your visa application. If you are married, the Bible prefers that your husband should either support your request being the head. As the Apostle Paul said: 'But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man' 1 Corinthians 11:3 If he is not in support, then the decision should be mutual, but want you to be one with your Christian husband as God designed it to be.
As it is written: 'Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh' Genesis 2:24 WEB. As we can see in the Word of God there is no allowance for the common separation of married couples as it is commonly accepted in society. God desired a man and wife to be together as one on earth as a representation of Jesus and His bride, being the church, and glorifying Him.
All of this should be also in alignment with the will of your husband, but most importantly, not before God's will. You invoked the name of Jesus, but knowing Jesus and walking with Him are requirements for a good relationship with a spouse. As it is written, 'Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up. And if a man prevails against him who is alone, two shall withstand him, and a threefold cord is not quickly broken' Ecclesiastes 4:9-4 WEB. As we can see here, this means you, as husband and wife, in God's will, are much stronger together and with God He can allow all things.
However, God truly wants our faith to be all about Him. We should never idolize a marriage, visa, or even loved ones. That is very dangerous. In fact, keep in mind Jesus said: 'For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it' Matthew 16:25 WEB.
There are other passages that explain the Christian life will involve persecution and suffering, not blessings like visas or things going our way all of the time. But in this event, if your marriage is not working very well, or God does not seem to be blessing the visa application after many attempts, this may be God planning to use you both for more important purposes in another area. So weighing this against scripture, this should be very strongly considered. It is of great importance that he, as the husband, and you, as the wife, understand and align with this.
God gives and takes away. Pray that God puts a hedge around you and your household and your heart will be ever towards Him, as it is written: 'but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh' Joshua 24:15 WEB. We must remember also to 'rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks, for this is God's will in Christ Jesus toward you' 1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB. So remember to give praise and thanks no matter the outcome of His answer to prayer.
Whether it be travel, remaining right where you are, or anywhere in this life, let's pray and ask that God guides you and your marriage in the way He desires: Dear Jesus, we come before You with this request, please protect and strengthen the marriage of ### and unify her family in your name. Let the power of your name guide her husband, family, and visa process. Please protect and guide them, keep them together as a family and married couple, as long as it aligns with your will, dear Jesus. Help her to give praise and thanks no matter the outcome. Just as it is written: 'Let the husband render to the wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to the husband' 1 Corinthians 7:3 WEB.
