dear god, me and my girl went in this temporary break/break up till our final exams get over and thats around 3months from now. its been really hard for me to have this huge change of tone and the way we talk with each other, i cant tell her ily's etc and she doesnt talk to me much over text and at school we barely even talk to each other let alone look at each other. shes been handling it well and im happy but its been really bad and hard for me god, i cant stop crying everyday and it hurts sm. please god give me some solution or help me through it please i beg you im not able to withstand this anymore. i dont want to feel depressed

Tyrhand, we understand that you're going through a difficult time with your girlfriend and the changes in your relationship. However, we need to address a few things in light of God's Word.

Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Secondly, we need to address the nature of your relationship. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality and to keep the marriage bed pure (1 Corinthians 6:18, Hebrews 13:4 WEB). If you and your girlfriend are not married, we strongly encourage you to abstain from any form of sexual intimacy, as this is pleasing to God. Also, being a boyfriend or girlfriend should be considered courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian Believer.

Now, let's address your feelings of depression and hurt. It's important to remember that God is always with you, even in times of pain. Psalm 34:18 WEB says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Instead of focusing on the temporary situation with your girlfriend, we encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus and pursue Him wholeheartedly. The Bible tells us to "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!" (Philippians 4:4 WEB). Remember Psalms 147:3 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Tyrhand. Lord, we pray for comfort and strength during this time. Help him to fix his eyes on You and to trust in Your plan for his life. We pray for Your healing touch on his heart and mind. Give him the grace to go through this situation, and if it is your will, restore their relationship in a godly way. We also pray for his girlfriend that You may give her strength and guide her as well. Help them to pursue purity and holiness in their relationship.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
