Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Wylwain and their family. We ask for your blessings to be poured out upon them, Lord. Guide them in every decision they make, leading them to the path that aligns with your perfect will for their lives. Your word reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." May Wylwain and their family trust in you completely and seek your guidance in all things.
Father, we also lift up the request for Nigeria to win the match tonight. We ask for your favor to be upon the Nigerian team, granting them strength, skill, and unity as they compete. However, we also acknowledge that your plans and purposes are higher than our own. Your word tells us in Proverbs 16:9, "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." We trust in your sovereignty, knowing that you have a perfect plan for every outcome.
Lord, we pray for unity and peace among the players and fans, that the match may be conducted in a spirit of sportsmanship and respect. May your will be done, and may your name be glorified through it all.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

God bless me with the strength, desire, passion, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to honor and please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
