We are truly heartbroken to hear about the burden you've been carrying due to the words spoken over your life and the expectations placed upon you. We stand with you in prayer and believe that God has a plan to redeem and restore the years that have been taken from you.
Firstly, we must address that the belief in curses and the power they hold is not supported by biblical principles. As Christians, we do not believe in the power of curses, but rather the power of God.
God's word says, For I know the plans I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
It is not God's will for you to live in isolation, despair, or bondage to past hurtful words or expectations. God desires for you to live in freedom, hope, and love. We must also remember the power of life and death that our words hold. Proverbs 18:21 WEB Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit.
The words spoken over you by your father were hurtful and not in line with God's will. We must remember Proverbs 15:4 WEB. A gentle tongue is a tree of life but impertinence in it breaks the spirit.
We pray that God will heal your spirit from any brokenness caused. We pray for any spoken words over you that do not align with the Lord's promises to be broken and nullified in Jesus' name.
Now, let us address the desire of your heart for a companion. We believe that God has a plan for you to be married according to His will as stated in the creation of man and woman in Genesis 2:18-25 and endorsed by Jesus Christ in Matthew 19:4-6.
It is important to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. As you desire a boyfriend you need to understand that this should be in preparation to find a godly husband. As a Christian it is important to only be with another Christian and the goal should be marriage.
You may not have children and may feel that time is running out, but God still has a plan for you. He still can fulfill your desire for a spouse and you can find fulfillment in a godly marriage. You can also look for ways to minister to children and be a blessing to them.
We also encourage you to seek God's will in all things, including your relationships. Remember that God's desire is for you to live in abundance and joy. Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
As you wait on God to fulfill your heart desires, we recommend and pray that you will seek a relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord. We must remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can be saved and only in his name we can have access to the Father.
And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB
And whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it. If you love me, keep my commandments. John 14:13-15 WEB
Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ who has carried this burden for far too long. We pray that You will break any hold that these words may have had over her life. We pray that You will heal her from the trauma and disappointment she has experienced. We ask that You will redeem the time that has been lost and restore the years that have been taken from her. We pray that You will fulfill the desires of her heart and bring a godly spouse into her life, that she may know the love and companionship that You have designed for her. We ask all of this in Your precious name, Lord Jesus. Amen.
