We are truly saddened to hear about the burden you've carried due to the words spoken over your life and the expectations placed upon you. We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to break every curse and bring restoration.
Firstly, it's important to address that the power of the tongue can bring life or death. Your father's words may have had a profound impact on your life, but they do not have the final say. The Bible tells us that "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit" Proverbs 18:21 WEB. We can counteract these negative words with the living word of God.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, we ask that You break every curse of rejection, romantic rejection, loneliness, and despair over her life right now. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment shall be condemned Proverbs 17:20. We speak life, love, and restoration over her.
Father, we ask that You heal the trauma and devastation she experienced from past hurts and disappointments. We declare that she is accepted in the Beloved, and that You have a plan and a purpose for her life that is good and not evil, to give her a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11.
We also ask for forgiveness if she has held any bitterness or resentment towards her family. Help her to release them into Your hands, and to trust You with her life and future. Lord, we declare that it is never too late for her to experience true love and companionship. We pray for a godly spouse, a man after Your own heart, someone who will love her and cherish her as Christ loves the church Ephesians 5:25.
Father, we thank You for Your promises, and we stand on them, believing that she will see Your goodness in the land of the living Psalm 27:13. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who sets the captives free. Amen.
Now, dear sister, it's important to remember that God's timing is perfect. He knows the desires of your heart, and He wants to give you the best. Trust in Him, and do not settle for less than His best. Be patient, be prayerful, and be prepared for the blessing He has in store for you.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that having a boyfriend is not the ultimate goal. The scriptures ask what fellowship does light have with darkness. A believer is already in the light and should not be trying to fellowship with darkness, so be sure any relationship is with a Christian believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. Having a boyfriend should be considered courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian believer. The Bible tells us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness. 2 Corinthians 6:14. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. Therefore, we will pray for godly spouse and a marriage that honors God.
Also, we noticed that Jesus Christ was not mentioned in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, "there is no other name by which we can be saved." Acts 4:12.
In case you haven't made a decision yet to put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please consider this important decision.
"That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed" Romans 10:9-11 WEB .
