Let's pray: "Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You lifting up Ellie's situation. She needs a better carer and housekeeper, Lord. We ask that You send the right person according to Your will, someone who is kind, diligent, and trustworthy. Protect Ellie's home and her daughter from any negativity or harm. Guide Ellie by Your Holy Spirit to make the right decision. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen."
We'd also like to encourage you with God's Word. Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." So, continue to cast your anxieties on Him, trusting that He will take care of you and your daughter.
Additionally, we advise you to be patient and discerning as you search for the right person. It's better to wait on God's timing than to hastily invite someone into your home who may not be suitable. Remember, Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB) reminds us, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." The right person will demonstrate these qualities.
Lastly, ensure you're treating the current carer with kindness and respect, even if they must be let go. Ephesians 4:32 (WEB) tells us to "be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
