Dear Saraha, we stand with you in the responsibility and privilege of voting. We commend your desire to discern candidates based on their commitment to the well-being of our nation and the protection of the unborn. As believers, we must engage in the world around us and use our voices for the sake of righteousness.
From Scripture, we are reminded, "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people" (Proverbs 14:34 WEB). We are also called to be a voice for the voiceless, as Proverbs 31:8-9 WEB tells us, "Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us the responsibility to shape our nation through our votes. Grant us wisdom and discernment as we evaluate each candidate. Help us to see through Your eyes, to vote in alignment with Your will, and to uphold righteousness in our land. We ask for Your divine intervention in this election, that those who will protect life, promote justice, and lead with integrity would be elected. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
As you vote, remember that our ultimate hope is not in any political system or candidate, but in Jesus Christ alone. It is through Him that we have access to God, and it is through His name that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess (Philippians 2:10-11 WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and trust that God is in control, no matter the outcome of the election.
