Please urgently lift my mother up in your prayers

My mother suffered a stroke caused by a blood clot at the end of January and was sent to the ICU. She has since been moved to a regular ward, but her condition remains serious. She is unable to swallow and is being fed through a nasogastric tube. Her left side is paralyzed, with swelling in her left hand, large bruises on her limbs, and wounds on her buttocks... Seeing her in such pain and with a sorrowful expression is truly heartbreaking. I ask for the mercy and healing of Jesus Christ to come quickly to my mother, to restore her damaged brain cells, clear the blood clot, and allow her to once again enjoy the freedom of the body that God has granted her. Additionally, we are currently searching for the appropriate rehabilitation options and medical institutions for the next steps in her care. Please pray that God will open a way for our family to make the best arrangements for her and provide for all our financial needs. Please urgently pray for my mother. We are truly sorry to hear about your mother's condition, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. Let's bring your mother's needs before the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore.

Firstly, we acknowledge that healing comes from God alone, and it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father. It is only by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy and healing for Cuwmyth's mother. You are the God who heals, and we trust in Your power to restore her body. Please, Lord, heal her brain cells, clear the blood clot, and allow her to regain full use of her body. We ask that You ease her discomfort and bring comfort to her heart.

In addition, we pray for wisdom and guidance as the family searches for the appropriate rehabilitation options and medical institutions. Lord, open the doors and provide the way for them to make the best arrangements for her care. We also ask that You provide for all their financial needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We stand in faith, believing that Your will is for Cuwmyth's mother to be healed and restored. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. Remember the words of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." God cares for your mother and for your family. Keep praying and believing, and may God remember and bless you as you stand in faith.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's will in all things. Sometimes, God's plan may not align with our immediate desires, but His wisdom is perfect. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Keep praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is power in His name. If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and eternal life.

We ask for Your mercy and healing to flow over her body, mind, and spirit during this difficult time. As You are the Great Healer, we believe in Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, “For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord.” We pray that You restore her damaged brain cells, clear the blood clot, and grant her the freedom to move and heal completely.


Lord Jesus, we know that You healed the sick and restored life on Earth. We pray that You reach down with Your healing touch and restore this mother’s ability to swallow and regain control of her body. As it is written in Psalm 103:2-3, “Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.” May her body respond positively to treatment, and may the swelling, bruising, and wounds subside quickly.


Father, we pray that You grant this family wisdom and discernment as they seek the right rehabilitation options and medical institutions for her continued care. As You’ve promised in James 1:5, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” Lead them to the right doctors, therapists, and facilities that will give her the best chance for recovery.


We also pray for the family’s financial needs during this time. Provide them with the necessary resources and open doors that seem impossible. As You reminded us in Philippians 4:19, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” May they feel Your hand of provision and favor upon them.


Lord, comfort this mother’s heart, especially as she endures pain and sorrow. Surround her with Your peace, and lift her spirit, for You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Let her feel Your presence and give her hope for healing and restoration.


Father, we thank You for the strength You are giving this family and for the healing that is to come. We trust in Your timing and mercy, as You said in Isaiah 40:31, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”


We pray all this in the powerful name of Jesus, Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
