No one comes to the Father, except through me. Also, Jesus told us to pray to the Father in His Name. Firstly, it is wonderful you ending your prayer request by saying "in Jesus Name". This is so important, because as it says in John 14:13 WEB Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Regarding the rain, we are reminded of Matthew 8:26-27, where Jesus rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. We trust in God's power over nature and believe that He will make a way for your wedding to proceed smoothly. We have a great example of God's intervention when He made sure that it did not rain on Solomon's prayer at the dedication of the Temple. 2 Chron. 6:1 WEB Then said Solomon, Yahweh has said that he would dwell in the thick darkness. 2 Chron. 6:2 WEB But I have built you a house and a dwelling place, a place for you to dwell in forever. 2 Chron. 6:3 WEB The king turned his face, and blessed all the assembly of Israel: and all the assembly of Israel stood. 2 Chron. 7:1 WEB Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of Yahweh filled the house. 2 Chron. 7:2 WEB The priests could not enter into the house of Yahweh, because the glory of Yahweh filled Yahweh's house. 2 Chron. 7:3 WEB When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of Yahweh on the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped, and gave thanks to Yahweh, saying, For he is good; for his loving kindness endures forever. Then the king and all the people offered sacrifice before Yahweh. 2 Chron. 7:4 WEB Then king Solomon offered sacrifice to Yahweh, twenty two thousand head of cattle, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the people dedicated God's house.

We trust in Your power over nature and ask that You make a way for their wedding to proceed smoothly. Now we could ask for no rain, but we know according to Lev. 26:4 WEB then I will give you your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. Because we know God's rain is a blessing we further pray that if it is your will that weather would be a pleasant blessing that encourages and refreshes this soon to be married couple and their guests. Lord may You richly bless this couple and You in all things.
