We join with you in prayer, asking God to give your husband, Collins Kazondovi, a heart of flesh, that is soft and responsive to His will and to your love.
We pray that God will break through any hardness in his heart, any selfishness, pride, arrogance, or coldness, and that He will make your husband's heart tender and receptive. We ask that God will reveal to Collins any areas of his life that need to change, even those that you may not be aware of.
We stand in agreement with you, asking God to step into your marriage and make it new. We pray that God will work in both of your hearts, drawing you closer to Him and to each other. We pray that God will make your marriage a testament to His love and faithfulness.
We pray the words of Ezekiel 36:26-27 over your husband:
A new heart will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We also remind you of the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14:
If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your husband and your marriage, trusting that God is at work. We also encourage you to seek God's will for your own life and to ask Him to reveal any areas where you may need to change and grow.
